Hospital and Card

Good Afternoon everyone.

Well we've finally been notified this morning that Ian has his admission date to go into Freeman for his hospital procedure........he's not pleased because it's this Sunday he goes in......he'll have tests done first with him being on Warfarin to get his RNI down to the right level...then he'll have his procedure. He thinks he'll only be in a couple of days but I think it will be more like two weeks.....bless he's waited since August last year to have this done.....so hopefully they'll sort it and make his life a little easier, since he had his intestines removed in 2007 you know he never complains ....he's my hero.


I've only got one card today that I finished last week another wedding bookatrix..Chocolate Brown this time .......I love doing these but when they are all the time I get a bit bored with them........I just want to play at times, I've got two wedding cars to do (Arty Farty Colin Car) well can't really grumble after all I'm making some pennies to put back into my craft kitty..

Today when I came in from work I had a lovely surprise in the post............it was a card from my very special friend Janeygrey from the forum.....a Thinking of You card how lovely was that....I thought I'd post it for you to see as she is a very talented crafter.......

I also had another surprise.......well I was waiting for them really...my Whiff of Joy and Ticket Stamps
After seeing so many beautiful cards made with these stamps and I must admit Bev inspired me I just had to have some.
so I'll be having a play with them (if I ever get the time)
I'm not going to say the finished cards will be any good when I've made them ......but hey I'll give it a try.

I went to Hobbie Craft Tuesday and was really disappointed....didn't think much of it. But I did manage to get a new guillotine

Parchment

Good Morning Everyone, hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather

Just had to post this one before I went to work...........made a couple of mistakes so added a butterfly......hope you like it....it's for my line manager at work.

Can any of you lovely parchment crafters give me any tips please to help stop my parchment from curling it would be so appreciated thank you.



Got to try to get my orders out of the way soon, I've another wedding book to do and two wedding cars..

so tomorrow if Ian is feeling well, I'm off to Hobby Craft for some retail therapy

Finally ....

Good Morning everyone, I've not posted in a while, as I've had my Sister staying and my Brother is in Hospital with his heart.

Here are a couple of cards I managed to get done before my sister came to visit....Hope you like them. Also added a couple at the bottom that I made a while ago and just wanted to show you them.

Made this one from an image i had, printed it out a couple of times and decoupaged it ....added glitter to the steam

This one is for my dear friend made from a Parchment Pattern I have by (Pauline Loweth) I used my special patterned mirry board as the main card.

Made this one for my Son, its from the kit I had tucked away by Michele Marsden, I was going to use Peejay's fab blue car she posted on her blog, until I realised I had this kit...(sorry peejay will make it up for you to see when i have the next man card to do)
















Made these Parchment Cards a while ago but just wanted to show them too the none forum members
Some of them are from the Parchment Magazine and some are patterns from Pauline Loweth
