Good Evening bloggers, just to let you all know that Ian is now home, things went well but he's in a lot of pain with the procedure he had and he's not a happy chappy because he's got to go back into hospital in a fortnights time to have a stent removed...so hopefully when things settle and my mind is my own again, I'll be back adding my cards.

I would also like to thank everyone for all your support over the last two years.

Not been on in a while

Good Morning bloggers, once again I'm sorry for neglecting you all I will do my best to catch up on all your blogs.

For those who know about my husbands condition he is about to go back into hospital on Tuesday 29th to see if this other procedure works....so please keep every thing crossed that it does work this time.

Here are a few parchment cards I've managed to do hope you like them.

Made this Dragon Parchment for my Brother ....he loved it

this parchment one was made for the forum challenge and I couldn't believe I won....

The eagle parchment was for my other Brother who's a tatooist but I don't think I coloured the eagles body very good....it's more of a colouring parchment using my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils in the same way you would use your parchment tools.
but he loved it......xx

I was just playing and thought I'd try to do more patterns to get some practice in so made these two, as you can see I added butterflies to the red one mistakes do happen lol.

Oh My what have I been missing the last few weeks........ Bev at All the things I love has got a fabulous blog candy which is a big "un" check out her blog not just for the blog candy but she is such and inspiration to all crafters.

Orders as well as Playing .....

Evening everyone......hope you are all well.........things here are just the same so can't really give you anything exciting....apart from our New Asda's floor moves.....what a fright I got. I felt so sea sick I can tell you.

I've managed to get some orders done at last.........and yes it's the bookatrix and Car once again they are so popular .......I even got a freebie from Phil at Arty Farty.........he sent me the new Dashboard for the car....he said its not on the website yet but will be soon for those of you who have Colin Car...I've also manged to have a play too with my new stamps Whiff of Joy and the Tilda from the Sea that I won on Bev's Saturday candy.

I just have to put a verse on then it's finished. I used my Memories Slice Machine to do the flourish and heart.

I love making these Car's but they do seem to take forever

This is the Dashboard I got as a free sample from Phil at Arty Farty...it comes in Brown and Black and I think it really finishes it off nicely.

Now for my water colouring .....I love doing these I find it so relaxing and I hope I've done them justice
I bought this cutie stamp from my local Arts and Craft shop

I just love this Whiff of Joy stamp. I think she's so elegant yet cute. I made it for my good friend Shirley from Sunderland as the other one I made her got all squished and damaged in the post.

This is my lovely Tilda in the Sea stamp that I won from Bev's Saturday Candy. She is soooo adorable (Thank you Bev and Heidi from Simon say's Stamps)
The papers I used are the Glitter Sweet Stack which I bought from the Papermill shop.

Update on Ian's procedure

Hi everyone not been on for a while, I've had loads of things going on so hopefully I'll catch up with my blog hopping when I come in from work tonight....

I would like to thank everyone for their emails and pm's regarding Ian's second procedure, I had to ring the Hospital this morning because Ian has gone over his fortnight and they told me that they have provisionally booked him into Hospital for 26th July, and will have his procedure on the 28th...just have to wait for confirmation if there's going to be a bed for him..
Hopefully all going well It will work this time.

Well hope you have all had a fabulous Saturday and weather has been good for you.........it's been warm but very dull here today......I finally used my Whiff of Joy Stamps that I bought a couple of weeks ago.....so I thought I'd post my end result cards that I've managed to do.........Hope they are ok cos I'm still learning my waterclouring....really enjoyed doing these two.

Water Colour Cards

Good Evening everyone hope your having a lovely Saturday

Well I thought I'd give my hand to some water colouring...I bought some stamps the other day from C&C the fairy doodles and wow they are lovely.......and a good size...when I became a member of C&C I got a £10 gift voucher so when I purchased the Fairy Doodle stamps I went for the multi buy and used my voucher so saved a few pennies.


I've also bought some stamps from the Whiff of Joy Stamps these are fabulous, but I think I need to practice my water colouring and buy some pretty papers before I attempt them.
(Sorry Bev not done them yet.)


So I've been having a little bit of a play today, to take my mind off Ian going into hospital tomorrow, (didnt' work)

Hospital and Card

Good Afternoon everyone.

Well we've finally been notified this morning that Ian has his admission date to go into Freeman for his hospital procedure........he's not pleased because it's this Sunday he goes in......he'll have tests done first with him being on Warfarin to get his RNI down to the right level...then he'll have his procedure. He thinks he'll only be in a couple of days but I think it will be more like two weeks.....bless he's waited since August last year to have this done.....so hopefully they'll sort it and make his life a little easier, since he had his intestines removed in 2007 you know he never complains ....he's my hero.


I've only got one card today that I finished last week another wedding bookatrix..Chocolate Brown this time .......I love doing these but when they are all the time I get a bit bored with them........I just want to play at times, I've got two wedding cars to do (Arty Farty Colin Car) well can't really grumble after all I'm making some pennies to put back into my craft kitty..

I also had another surprise.......well I was waiting for them really...my Whiff of Joy and Ticket Stamps
After seeing so many beautiful cards made with these stamps and I must admit Bev inspired me I just had to have some.
so I'll be having a play with them (if I ever get the time)
I'm not going to say the finished cards will be any good when I've made them ......but hey I'll give it a try.

I went to Hobbie Craft Tuesday and was really disappointed....didn't think much of it. But I did manage to get a new guillotine

Parchment

Good Morning Everyone, hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather

Just had to post this one before I went to work...........made a couple of mistakes so added a butterfly......hope you like it....it's for my line manager at work.

Can any of you lovely parchment crafters give me any tips please to help stop my parchment from curling it would be so appreciated thank you.



Got to try to get my orders out of the way soon, I've another wedding book to do and two wedding cars..

so tomorrow if Ian is feeling well, I'm off to Hobby Craft for some retail therapy

Finally ....

Good Morning everyone, I've not posted in a while, as I've had my Sister staying and my Brother is in Hospital with his heart.

Here are a couple of cards I managed to get done before my sister came to visit....Hope you like them. Also added a couple at the bottom that I made a while ago and just wanted to show you them.

Made this one from an image i had, printed it out a couple of times and decoupaged it ....added glitter to the steam

This one is for my dear friend made from a Parchment Pattern I have by (Pauline Loweth) I used my special patterned mirry board as the main card.

Made this one for my Son, its from the kit I had tucked away by Michele Marsden, I was going to use Peejay's fab blue car she posted on her blog, until I realised I had this kit...(sorry peejay will make it up for you to see when i have the next man card to do)
