Hello everyone,
Hope you are all keeping well and I need to apologise once again for not updating my blog just we've had more bad news (not Ian this time) but Dad he has been diagnosed with lung cancer and has to have a three week intensive course of radiotherapy, I'm going to try to do catch up and post some cards but there never seems to be as many hours in the day that I need.......

Maybe I can have some me time over the weekend and post some cards then........until later you all take care and look after each other

Hi everyone, sorry I've not been online in a while and I do promise to do catch up with you all and update my blog at some point, once we got the Christmas out of the way, Ian had his on and off days then last week my poor Dad had a fall in his sheltered flat, he fractured his arm and is still in hospital. They need to make sure he is steady on his feet before they let him home.

REGARDING BLOG COMMENTS
I'm not sure if anyone else has been getting comments form an Anonymous which they've been trying to leave really sexual explicit comments on my postings they have also been trying to leave links on my blog posts too. I'm just glad I've had my Comment Moderator on and had a chance to rejected them all.......I've had a total of 20 up till now. If these are not computer generated comment's then who ever is leaving these please stop as i will not allow them on my blog.

For those who don't have your comments monitored I would suggest you put your comment protection on.

Ian's Home

Good Evening bloggers, just to let you all know that Ian is now home, things went well but he's in a lot of pain with the procedure he had and he's not a happy chappy because he's got to go back into hospital in a fortnights time to have a stent removed...so hopefully when things settle and my mind is my own again, I'll be back adding my cards.

I would also like to thank everyone for all your support over the last two years.

Good Morning bloggers, once again I'm sorry for neglecting you all I will do my best to catch up on all your blogs.

For those who know about my husbands condition he is about to go back into hospital on Tuesday 29th to see if this other procedure works....so please keep every thing crossed that it does work this time.

Here are a few parchment cards I've managed to do hope you like them.

Made this Dragon Parchment for my Brother ....he loved it

this parchment one was made for the forum challenge and I couldn't believe I won....

The eagle parchment was for my other Brother who's a tatooist but I don't think I coloured the eagles body very good....it's more of a colouring parchment using my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils in the same way you would use your parchment tools.
but he loved it......xx

I was just playing and thought I'd try to do more patterns to get some practice in so made these two, as you can see I added butterflies to the red one mistakes do happen lol.

Evening everyone......hope you are all well.........things here are just the same so can't really give you anything exciting....apart from our New Asda's floor moves.....what a fright I got. I felt so sea sick I can tell you.

I've managed to get some orders done at last.........and yes it's the bookatrix and Car once again they are so popular .......I even got a freebie from Phil at Arty Farty.........he sent me the new Dashboard for the car....he said its not on the website yet but will be soon for those of you who have Colin Car...I've also manged to have a play too with my new stamps Whiff of Joy and the Tilda from the Sea that I won on Bev's Saturday candy.

I just have to put a verse on then it's finished. I used my Memories Slice Machine to do the flourish and heart.

I love making these Car's but they do seem to take forever

This is the Dashboard I got as a free sample from Phil at Arty Farty...it comes in Brown and Black and I think it really finishes it off nicely.

Now for my water colouring .....I love doing these I find it so relaxing and I hope I've done them justice
I bought this cutie stamp from my local Arts and Craft shop

I just love this Whiff of Joy stamp. I think she's so elegant yet cute. I made it for my good friend Shirley from Sunderland as the other one I made her got all squished and damaged in the post.

This is my lovely Tilda in the Sea stamp that I won from Bev's Saturday Candy. She is soooo adorable (Thank you Bev and Heidi from Simon say's Stamps)
The papers I used are the Glitter Sweet Stack which I bought from the Papermill shop.

Update on Ian's procedure

Hi everyone not been on for a while, I've had loads of things going on so hopefully I'll catch up with my blog hopping when I come in from work tonight....

I would like to thank everyone for their emails and pm's regarding Ian's second procedure, I had to ring the Hospital this morning because Ian has gone over his fortnight and they told me that they have provisionally booked him into Hospital for 26th July, and will have his procedure on the 28th...just have to wait for confirmation if there's going to be a bed for him..
Hopefully all going well It will work this time.

Well hope you have all had a fabulous Saturday and weather has been good for you.........it's been warm but very dull here today......I finally used my Whiff of Joy Stamps that I bought a couple of weeks ago.....so I thought I'd post my end result cards that I've managed to do.........Hope they are ok cos I'm still learning my waterclouring....really enjoyed doing these two.

Water Colour Cards

Good Evening everyone hope your having a lovely Saturday

Well I thought I'd give my hand to some water colouring...I bought some stamps the other day from C&C the fairy doodles and wow they are lovely.......and a good size...when I became a member of C&C I got a £10 gift voucher so when I purchased the Fairy Doodle stamps I went for the multi buy and used my voucher so saved a few pennies.

I've also bought some stamps from the Whiff of Joy Stamps these are fabulous, but I think I need to practice my water colouring and buy some pretty papers before I attempt them.
(Sorry Bev not done them yet.)

So I've been having a little bit of a play today, to take my mind off Ian going into hospital tomorrow, (didnt' work)

Hospital and Card

Good Afternoon everyone.

Well we've finally been notified this morning that Ian has his admission date to go into Freeman for his hospital procedure........he's not pleased because it's this Sunday he goes in......he'll have tests done first with him being on Warfarin to get his RNI down to the right level...then he'll have his procedure. He thinks he'll only be in a couple of days but I think it will be more like two weeks.....bless he's waited since August last year to have this done.....so hopefully they'll sort it and make his life a little easier, since he had his intestines removed in 2007 you know he never complains ....he's my hero.

I've only got one card today that I finished last week another wedding bookatrix..Chocolate Brown this time .......I love doing these but when they are all the time I get a bit bored with them........I just want to play at times, I've got two wedding cars to do (Arty Farty Colin Car) well can't really grumble after all I'm making some pennies to put back into my craft kitty..

Just had to post this one before I went to work...........made a couple of mistakes so added a butterfly......hope you like it....it's for my line manager at work.

Good Morning everyone, I've not posted in a while, as I've had my Sister staying and my Brother is in Hospital with his heart.

Here are a couple of cards I managed to get done before my sister came to visit....Hope you like them. Also added a couple at the bottom that I made a while ago and just wanted to show you them.

Made this one from an image i had, printed it out a couple of times and decoupaged it ....added glitter to the steam

This one is for my dear friend made from a Parchment Pattern I have by (Pauline Loweth) I used my special patterned mirry board as the main card.

Made this one for my Son, its from the kit I had tucked away by Michele Marsden, I was going to use Peejay's fab blue car she posted on her blog, until I realised I had this kit...(sorry peejay will make it up for you to see when i have the next man card to do)

Made these Parchment Cards a while ago but just wanted to show them too the none forum members

What A Service

Evening everyone, hope you are all well

I just had to share this with you..........

It was my birthday last week. and one of my pressies was the Crafters Companion Occasions double Cd, now at first I thought Wow.........But then my bubble burst..........I already have it.....I didn't want to upset anyone or sound ungrateful as these cd's are a lot of money. So I rang the Customer Services of Crafters Companion last Friday and told her of my situation and that I didn't have a receipt with it being a presant. I also told her that I had also received the Multi buy Summer Stories with exclusive stamps and if it could be at all possible I would like to swap the cd for the Cute Companions Summer Stories Indoor Multibuy Stamps...she was really lovely on the phone and suggested I send in a cover letter with the cd to explain in writing of what it was I would like to swap the cd with........

So I wrote my cover letter and went to the post office to send the package by Special Delivery because it was the Bank Holiday weekend and I didn't want it lying around for 4 days ......and never guess what...........I got in from work today to find my three fabulous stamp sets waiting to be cut up and played with........

What a fabulous service that was....

New Selection

Good Afternoon everyone, or is it evening lol...........

Hope you all had a great Bank Holiday Weekend no matter what you did.

...............I've not done much this morning what with Ian having another Hospital appointment today.. (all is well)

Here are a few I managed to do yesterday..........and one I forgot to put on the other day.....lol must be having senior moments .....

These two are to be added to my stash for one of the girls on my Forum who are for a Charity Fayre coming up......I've not put the sentiments on yet ...so I better get my skates on......because it's not long now before she needs them

This is the outside of the Nursery Room - Still no sentiment .

and this is the inside of the Nursery........both made using the Cute Companion Summer Stories Cd which i got for my birthday ......I combined the mice stamps...I only put two on because I thought it might over crowd the room...

This one is for a very lovely lady who has just gone into Hospital for a little while..........Louise Emma....(thinking of you Lou)

And Last but not least is the one I forgot to post its another mouse one, made with the Cute Companion Cd and stamps for a lovely lady on my forum - Janeygrey who wasn't well........

Been a while

We used to always get our 3 Nieces every Friday night, 2 Nieces from 1 brother Shana 11yrs and Misha 7yrs and 1 Niece from my other brother Chloe 13yrs, but with Ian having his major surgery in 2007 and being so poorly we had to get rid of the spare beds and make one of the rooms into a treatment room for him, and of course the other is my craft room....so we had to stop getting them..(no beds) :-(

Well my brother rang the other night and asked if Ian was well enough and if he was could we have the girls over night, I knew Ian's sister had a double air bed so I jumped at the chance and said yes.......Kim (Ian's sister kindly said "keep the air bed at our house for the future") and it was last night we had Shana and Misha, I had so much fun..it makes me feel alive when we have them over to sleep.

We had supper and played on the Wii, what a laugh, now I know why they call it the Wii (wee) I nearly wet myself a few times, then when Ian went to bed we watched a movie, which was wise as they would have had to calm down before bed......poor Misha never got to see the movie she fell asleep... Here are my two beautiful Nieces......who I adore so much....

Disgusted at New Wing

When I went to one of the Newcastle Hospitals which is a NEW WING, with Ian the other day for the first time ever may I add, he had to have his bloods done, and when he came out his arm was pouring of blood and with being on Warfrin, we were worried, so he went back in to see the nurse, and she stuck another cotton ball on and said " Oh that will stop soon" Not take a seat and we'll see if it subsides

Not only that i was so disgusted when I went into the ladies toilets, and after washing my hands I found nothing to dry them on there was no hand dryer, no paper towel dispenser and no paper towels, and this is a New Wing.

I also noticed while walking around that there was no Hand Gel Pumps on any of the walls either.....I work for the NHS and our Hospital is always asking the public to use the hand gels, I carry one on my ID Badge when I'm at work, I even use sterile wipes to clean my keyboard before i use it, and even those at the Hospital where Ian normally goes has Hand Gel Pumps on the walls, and the Consultant always uses it before he sees to a patient or shakes any one's hand.

And now with this new Swine Flu going around.....it got me so annoyed to think I'm doing my hardest to keep Ian safe from germs and then when he goes to what we would think is a safe and caring place to see such disgust...and un-hygienic, so I was that livid i emailed the hospital and voiced my concerns about this.

Hope he never has to go back there again.

Now watch this space because I could be sacked with making this public, even without naming them......but i feel as if i have the right to freedom of speech..

I feel so lucky xx

I've managed to do some cards at last, what with work and back and forth to Hospital with Ian I haven't been able to concentrate......Ian has two more appointments next week and one at the beginning of May ......and I'm off work from Wednesday 29th for a full week.....Yippee...

.Just love it when i only have to put 1 days holiday in for a Friday and get six off....(with it being a bank holiday)

Went to work today, afternoons as my manager kindly dropped and changed my hours for me...due to Ian's condition. Anyway i could feel my blood starting to boil, my skin felt tight and was starting to itch something rotten, my arms came out in such big red blotches so i asked my manager if she knew what it could be.....she sent me to staff health and they sent me to A+E to get assessed ........ended up sitting there for 2 hours to get some steroid tablets.....have to take 6 tablets altogether for 3 days ........they still didn't tell me what it was just that it was an allergic reaction to something...
Should of just waited and gone to my GP, but couldn't take the risk of Ian catching anything if it was contagious.......Glad its not and now its started to subside..........Pheeeew.

This one is a Messy Rabbit from Joanna Sheens cd.

This one is also from the Messy Rabbits cd, printed the topper out a couple of times then decoupaged it....added a bit of glitter to the pram and bottle, then added flower soft to the corner...

Made this one form Jak's cd....think i was a little sea sick when i put the ribbon on the top...ha,ha,ha, ..must change it....lol x

Cinderella and Motor Bike

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a lovely Easter. Ive not done much over this weekend, Ian is still having problems with his ears, he's had an ear infection for nearly a fortnight now, been to doctors twice but its still not cleared yet..he has to try some drops once his tablets are finished, so we'll see how they work.

I've only made two cards since my last post, think my mojo has disappeared....Here is one that I have made for my Friend for her Grand-daughter.

I'm not really happy with this one so I might re-do it....mind it does look better in the flesh. I found an image on the net of the castle, then put it into GCF to resize it, and to add the text.

I decoupaged Cinderella from a sheet i've had since 2006 I added glamour dust to both castle and Cinderella.which really doesn't show up well on the picture..then I stuck her to the background using pinflair glue. (Great stuff doesn't smell).

I was asked by my B.I.L to make a card for his mate who is 50, they had origionally bought one (traitor's) but said it was rubbish so they then asked if I could make one for him. He is a motor bike fanatic so heres what i come up with..

I know I'm going to worry about Ian no matter what. Poor thing was at the GP's today he now has an ear infection. He doesn't do things by half.

I finally got this one out the way, only one more 3d card to do then the rest are flat's.........I can then concentrate on the Charity cards I promised to do for May and I have decided to display my 3d cards in our local library in June....so will have to get my skates on....

After tidying up i found my Ulead Photo Express Cd Rom, and had a bit of a play and found that once i had taken the pic of my card that i could put a decorative border around that way it hides any of the background i didn't manage to crop.......also used it to add my watermark on...

Hi, well I return to work next week.....1st April of all days....even snapped my tooth in-half, in my sleep must have been so tense worrying about leaving Ian, but I know I have to go back, even if its to keep my hobby funded.

I got my new Toy yesterday the Slice Machine, so I need to catch up on the rest of my orders and Charity Cards before I can have a proper play with it.

My Niece has started a Wedding Stationary Website and asked me to do the Car for her so she could display it at a Wedding Fayre she is going to tomorrow.......hopefully I'll get loads of orders...which will also help pay for my snapped tooth, can't believe it's £198 for the Dentist to cap it..

We saw our gorgeous Grandson today and I got a lovely teddy in a glass for Mothers Day (Nana's Day) off him and a lovely miniature yellow rose plant (my favorite flower) from my Son and his partner....which can be put into the garden when it's ready....

My Grandson is two and is coming along really great with his talking.........he shouted Nana, Nana, which made me have a lump in my throat as its the first time he has called me Nana.......he's so cute..xxx
